Abstract
The work has as its theme business logistics and the importance that logistics presents in the context of business management. Business logistics is one of the key factors that competes for organizational success. The purpose of this article is to seek to identify and understand the importance of logistics and its management in the context of business management in view of the following question, the logistics activity contributes to the aggregation of value within business management? The applied methodology was the basic bibliographic research of qualitative approach. The work presents as justification the dissemination of knowledge about the importance of logistics activity and its management within the processes of business management in view of the efficient practice of business logistics. From it it is concluded that the use of business logistics in business management and strategic planning of any organization to achieve its objectives is essential.
