Abstract

The work “Instituto de Luz - Professional Training for Low -Income Microentrepreneurs” addresses the importance of professional training for microentrepreneurs in Salvador, Bahia, aiming at insertion in the formal labor market and improving the quality of life. The study details the local socioeconomic context, the high rates of unemployment and vacancy, and the emergence of informal work and entrepreneurship as solutions to these issues. The project proposes the creation of a professional training institute with specific courses for areas such as beauty, confectionery and communication, meeting the needs of the local community. The methodology includes interviews with mentors and entrepreneurs, validation of ideas, prototype creation and analysis of potential personas, culminating in an action plan for the implementation of the institute.
