Abstract
Introduction: The objective of this work was to outline the best strategy for the Implementation of Quality Management in the Maternity School at UFRJ. To this end, we evaluated their body of protagonists, found out their level of understanding on the subject and analyzed whether there were weaknesses or difficulties. Some of the benefits of this Management Model were demonstrated, and also analyzed what already existed in terms of Quality implemented within the sectors involved. Methodology: It is a study with a quanti-qualitative approach, where an individual, in-depth and semi-structured interview was carried out, and then briefly explained the advantages of this Model, focusing on your doubts and questions. Through this interview, we analyze the connection between the respondents’ answers and select the most relevant answers. We conclude, therefore, that there is an important failure in the interaction / communication of the sectors, even in those that necessarily interact with each other. In this way, we understand that the achievement of a better integration of these sectors and the adequate and full use of these existing instruments in the institution, as well as the creation of some new Management instruments, will be the path to be followed for the full implementation of this Management Model.
