Politics and its spheres: elections, rights and public policies

Abstract

This book was designed and prepared in the year 2023 and, on that date, two moments of the health and political situation had already been resolved. In the case of the COVID-19 pandemic, the most critical period (2020-2022) has been overcome and we can now hug people, as the government has also suspended the mandatory use of masks. On the other hand, the 2022 elections for president, governors, federal and state deputies and senators took place according to the electoral calendar. In the end, President Lula da Silva became victorious, after the second round, in October. However, with the PT victory, a truncated transition took place between Jair Bolsonaro's government and the new administration.
