It is widely consumed in Japan in dishes such as porridge, soups, cakes, pastries, and mixed with rice. Rich in fiber, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and folic acid, azuki beans contain approximately 55% starch. In Brazil, this legume is still relatively unknown, with little information available on its agricultural production. This study aims to analyze and quantify the availability of scientific articles on azuki beans, both at the national and international levels, based on publications from 2012 to 2022. The analysis period it covered the months of August to October 2022. The descriptor “Adzuki Beans” yielded the highest number of publications, with 2021 being the year with the largest volume, totaling 73 articles. In contrast, the descriptor “Feijão Azuki” showed a significantly lower number of articles, with only three publications in 2015. The Web of Science database had the highest number of published articles, totaling 488 publications during the analyzed period.
Andréa dos Santos Oliveira Tanismare Tatiana de Almeida Lucas Pereira Valero Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates 2024-10-06 2024-10-06 5 03 64 75 10.51249/jid.v5i03.2237 MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF NATURAL PHENOMENA https://periodicojs.editoraperiodicojs.com.br/index.php/jid/article/view/2164
The comprehension of the phenomena that pervade our world is a pursuit that extends beyond the confines of conventional disciplinary boundaries. In recent decades, mathematical modeling has emerged as a powerful tool for elucidating the enigmas of these intricate phenomena, irrespective of their provenance in the exact sciences, biology, geography, or other domains of human knowledge. In this sense, the objective of this study was to review and recover concepts inherent in modeling with a focus on interdisciplinarity. From this comprehensive review, it can be inferred that by exploring examples in various disciplines, the crucial role that mathematical modeling plays in understanding and predicting complex phenomena becomes evident. Through the analysis of the various techniques and approaches presented, it is notable how mathematical modeling transcends disciplinary boundaries, providing unique insights and powerful tools for exploring the natural world and the interactions that occur within it.
Felipe Corrêa Veloso dos Santos Edivaldo Fernandes da Silva Tatiane Mesquita Vaz Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates 2024-08-21 2024-08-21 5 03 1 13 10.51249/jid.v5i03.2164 OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY IN CIVIL CONSTRUCTION OF THE STATE OF RORAIMA https://periodicojs.editoraperiodicojs.com.br/index.php/jid/article/view/2199
This research highlights the safety of work in civil construction in the state of Roraima, with the objective of analyzing the safety practices adopted in the sector, identifying the main risks faced and assessing the effectiveness of implemented preventive measures. The methodology was based on the analysis of regulatory standards, local case studies and workers’ perception. The results showed that Roraima’s climate and geographical particularities impose additional security challenges, highlighting the importance of adapted practices and effective risk management. The conclusion points to the need to strengthen security culture in companies, with emphasis on workers’ education and training, as a way to reduce accidents and improve working conditions.
Orlando do Carmo Merlim Neto Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates 2024-09-09 2024-09-09 5 03 14 31 10.51249/jid.v5i03.2199 MATHEMATICAL EDUCATION AND THE LEARNING ASSESSMENT PROCESS IN THE EARLY YEARS OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL https://periodicojs.editoraperiodicojs.com.br/index.php/jid/article/view/2210
This study analyzed the influence of parental and/or guardian involvement on the academic performance of 3rd-grade students at the Municipal School Santa Luzia in Cajazeiras, Macaíba. The specific objectives included understanding parents’ and/or guardians’ perceptions of their role in the educational process, exploring their participation in students’ learning, identifying factors that affected their effective participation, and proposing strategies to encourage greater involvement of these responsible parties in the school. A qualitative case study methodology was adopted, utilizing semi-structured interviews, analysis of official documents, and a literature review. The sample consisted of 24 3rd-grade students, 2 teachers, 2 administrators, and 10 parents and/or guardians. The results revealed a significant relationship between parental support and students’ academic performance. Students who received more support or supervision from their parents or guardians performed better academically. The study emphasizes the importance of active parental and/or guardian involvement in students’ school life, not only in terms of financial and material support but also in interaction with teachers and other members of the school community. A notable aspect of the research was the formative/summative assessment conducted with parents present in the classroom. The results of this assessment, not disclosed to the students and their families, were quite revealing: when parents were present, students’ correct responses ranged from 95% to 100%, while in the absence of parents, correct responses ranged from 20% to 50%. This result highlights the significant influence that parental participation can have on students’ academic success.
Magno de Souza Holanda Petrona Britez de Matínez Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates 2024-09-16 2024-09-16 5 03 32 53 10.51249/jid.v5i03.2210 UTILIZATION OF NANOTECHNOLOGY IN VETERINARY MEDICINE https://periodicojs.editoraperiodicojs.com.br/index.php/jid/article/view/2211
In veterinary medicine, particularly in diagnostics, drug administration, and reproductive biology, nanotechnology has made significant contributions. By enabling the precise delivery of unstable or insoluble substances, reducing systemic toxicity, and prolonging the action of the active ingredient at the desired site, nanoparticles enhance the effectiveness of treatments. This translates to fewer doses, reduced costs, and less waste from animal-derived products. Furthermore, nanotechnology aids in diagnostics by detecting pathogens and mapping molecular profiles related to diseases. The sensitivity of tests, increased by nanoparticles, allows for more effective detection of contaminants and microbial agents in animal-derived products, which is crucial for food safety. Nanoparticles and nanotubes are also used in reproductive biology to improve fertility, extend sperm longevity, and facilitate semen purification for artificial insemination. Additionally, implanted nanotubes can monitor hormone levels, aiding in the identification of estrus and the selection of breeders. Despite these advancements, it is crucial to monitor the risks and environmental impacts of nanotechnological technologies to ensure their safety and effectiveness in veterinary medicine. The objective of this work is to explore and evaluate current applications of nanotechnology in veterinary medicine, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and potential for future advancements.
Lídia Ketry Moreira Chaves Andreia Oliveira Santos Igor Bernardes Rodrigues Michelly Dias de Oliveira Jordana Manaíra Alves Dias Mariza Mitiko Yokoy Edson Gomes da Silva Graziele Alves de Carvalho Diovana Maria Serafim Silva Flávia Albeirice Du Rocher Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Interdisciplinary Debates 2024-09-16 2024-09-16 5 03 54 63 10.51249/jid.v5i03.2211
