Abstract

Introduction: Nursing is essential for the effectiveness and improvement of maternal and child health, through relevant processes with other health professionals, including hypertensive syndromes. Objective: This objective research describes how scientific evidence on nursing care for women with pre-eclampsia and / or eclampsia, reported in articles published from 2016 to 2020. Methodology: This is an integrative review that included publications in two databases: LILACS and SCIELO. The search for articles, through the descriptors, shown as a result 38 articles. Criteria for the selection of articles were adopted, a result throughout the text, which enabled the identification of 06 publications related to the proposed study. Results: Nursing care is evidenced in several actions, from prenatal care as a tool, such as health technologies as one of the ways to improve care for these women, patient safety that needs to be offered in each action of the team nursing, as well as the fact of knowing the profile of these women and from that elaborate chronology that minimize the risks of maternal and child mortality caused by pre-eclampsia / eclampsia. Final considerations: It is concluded that, all these aspects can be evidenced in the publications, making them relevant to the scientific and qualified growth of nursing.
